Events Policy
The ISACA Western New York Chapter offers five types of training events: Chapter Meetings, CISA® Study Sessions, Conferences, Special Events, and the chapter's Annual Meeting.
The chapter strongly encourages RSVP or advance registration and payment for all events, as the capacity for many of our events is limited due to the size of the event location. Therefore, seats may not be available on the day of the event for walk-up registrants. The following table summarizes the chapter's payment and cancellation policies:

Payment Policy
- All advance event registration payments will be made through our web site. For advance registrations, payment is accepted via Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover.
- Advance registrations will not be accepted after the Friday before the date of the event.
- For RSVP and walk-up registrations, cash payment is required.
- For members experiencing periods of unemployment or financial hardship, free attendance to chapter events excluding special events, conferences, or seminars; may be available. Please contact the Chapter Secretary with your request and supporting documentation.
- For members of both the Western New York and Rochester Chapters of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA) in addition to the Rochester Chapter of the Information Systems Security Association (ISSA), member event rates apply for all Standard Events and Seminars. Please note that non-member rates will apply for all Special Events and Chapter Meetings.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation and refund for advance registrations, less applicable cancellation fees, are allowed if cancellations are submitted to the chapter Secretary prior to the Friday before the event. Applicable cancellation fees will be based on the price of the event, but are typically between $5 and $15.
Advance registrants who do not attend the course or do not cancel by the event cutoff date are not eligible for a refund. Attendee substitutions may be available. To inquire about substitutions, the registrant should contact the chapter Secretary.
