The Western New York Chapter (WNY) was founded on March 5, 1980 and works to support and contribute to association and foundation efforts. In serving its members, WNY provides:

• - Networking opportunities through regularly scheduled chapter meetings/technical sessions;

• - Educational seminars and workshops for continuing professional development;

• - A highly successful comprehensive CISA® review course program offered annually;

• - Research projects and outreach efforts to the local public and academic communities ;

• - Chapter newsletters where local members present technical articles and highlight local activities; and

• - Participation in local board and committee activities.
