Information Security and The Human Age: Boomers, Gen X, Gen Y, OMG

When it comes to protecting information assets, CISOs ‘get it.’
But having a team of one understand what is needed is not enough. To become truly
ingrained into the business — and for the business to truly derive the most value out of
its infosec team — all employees, from top to bottom, must be on the same page when
it comes to information security.

The workforce is changing. For the first time in history we now have four generations
working side by side — traditionalists, baby boomers, Generation X and Generation Y.
We know we are different, but how? What are the implications for information security
today and in the future? In this interactive discussion, Todd Fitzgerald will explore the
social norms, work/life practices, technology differences, and attitudes toward security
of the different generations and how our organizations need to
adapt to the changing workforce.
